Many private roads in Norway charge a fee for use and register vehicles by number plate. Private road passages are handled through AutoPass in the same way as toll road passages, and the AutoPass fee applies.

The renter is advised to photograph the vehicle before leaving the parking space and at return, including all sides, wheels, windscreen and interior. Photos taken after the vehicle has left the parking space are not valid. Damage not listed on the damage form must be reported at the counter before departure.

The renter is responsible for the vehicle until the keys are returned at the counter or in the key drop.

Vehicles are not checked in together with the renter. The station inspects the vehicle within 6 hours of return and informs the renter of any damage within 24 hours, both counted within opening hours.

Dirty vehicles may be moved to the wash hall before inspection. This does not affect the damage inspection or the renter’s responsibility for damage found.
